Planning Secured for Listed Building in Ripley

Listed Building Consent secured for refurbishment works to this roof in the characterful village of Ripley. Our Heritage Impact Assessment explained the need for the works, how they would be carried out and the overall resultant impact on the significance of this grade II listed building. The Council agreed that “the scheme is considered to preserve the significance of the listed building and maintain the character and appearance of the Ripley Conservation Area”.

However, our early input ensured that the proposed works were heritage led and suitable for in terms of materiality which meant we received the decision notice on the target date which is rarity at the moment! No doubt this was also in part to the quick and comprehensive input of MHAArchitecture and Dobson Construction Ltd to conservation officer queries.
