Primrose Hill

Planning permission granted for the demolition of the existing house and redundant farm buildings and the erection of a replacement dwelling with guest accommodation, installation of a pond
and outdoor pool in Kirkby Knowle, Northy Yorkshire.

ELG Planning and ELG Heritage were involved from the outset following the pre-puchase of the property by our client and subsequently prepared the pre-app, in addition to the heritage and planning statements.

This project was not without its challenges, being sited in a senstive location on the edge of National Park, however the proposals were deemed of ‘high quality design’, ‘sympathetic with its surroundings and site context’ and considered to ‘enhance the sites immedate surroundings’. The proposals also resulted in a high degree of BNG uplift.
