Details
A full planning application is currently being prepared in relation to Phase 2 of the Bishop Auckland Retail & Leisure Park scheme. The Phase 2 scheme will deliver three additional retail warehouse units with a total floor area of approximately 8,000 sq.m, as well as a new petrol filling station. The proposals represent further multi-million pound investment in the local area and, once complete, will generate in the region of 300 jobs across a range of roles building on the undoubted success of Phase 1 by accommodating further national retailers not currently represented in the town meaning that residents will no longer have to travel elsewhere to visit such retail outlets.
