Stockton rugby club are bringing forward plans for a new clubhouse to facilitate the new main pitch (southwest pitch) just off Grosvenor Road in Fairfield Stockton. This will help the club continue to play its vital role in the community. The Clubhouse will be 24m x 16m and will be made using shipping containers which will be insulated, clad and glazed in line with current building requirement.   We are currently preparing a planning application and would like to hear your thoughts before it’s submitted.                                                                                                                                                                                    

About Stockton Rugby club

                                                                                                              Founded in 1873, Stockton RFC is one of the oldest rugby clubs in the North East and has served the local community for over 150 years. Since relocating to Grangefield in 2015, the club has experienced significant growth and established a long-term home in partnership with Grangefield Academy and Stockton Cricket Club.

The club provides rugby for mini, junior, senior, women's and girls' teams and is recognised for one of the region's strongest youth development programmes, producing England international and British & Irish Lion Geoff Parling.

Committed to improving health, wellbeing and social inclusion, Stockton RFC works with local partners to increase participation among young people, girls and women, people with disabilities, and pupils with additional needs.

Having outgrown its current facilities, the club is seeking to develop a new clubhouse that will create a year-round community hub, increase participation, improve accessibility, generate additional income and ensure Stockton RFC can continue to grow and serve the community for future generations.
