Heritage
RTPI & IHBC Event
The 20th of May saw a joint IHBC and RTPI NE seminar. It was a great opportunity to explore how heritage-led regeneration can shape the future of our market towns.
Through a mix of talks, a walking tours and a panel discussion, we saw how the historic environment continues to act as a powerful cultural and economic asset. From design coding and large-scale visions to local interventions, the day offered practical insight and fresh thinking on how we plan and deliver change.
ELG’s Fiona Bage joined the panel discussion and alongside artist Nicky Peacock it was a chance to explore our award winning Darlington Yards project which was showcased as a walking tour.
