ELG provided planning advice and viability appraisals in support of the proposed redevelopment of a long standing brownfield site on the banks of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.
There were numerous planning issues acting as a constraint to the development of this site and viability was marginal. However, working alongside Bradford City Council, an innovative scheme was developed and subsequently implemented within months of receiving planning consent from the Council.
This highly sustainable housing development triumphed in the Best Residential class at the recent UK Property Awards.
